The boat capsized in the Courtmacsherry near the pier

TWO MEN WERE rescued after their boat capsized near a pier in Courtmacsherry, West Cork.

The Courtmacsherry RNLI Lifeboat was called out at 4.25am this morning to go to the immediate aid of two people who had gotten into difficulty in a small boat just off the pier at Courtmacsherry Harbour in West Cork.

In total, 14 crew members of the all weather lifeboat station in Courtmacsherry responded to the mayday call immediately nu skin product.

The incident unfolded at 4.25am when the men were spotted in difficulty in a small 7ft boat, and help was immediately sought.

Following a 999 call from two local people nuskin, the Coastguard immediately tasked the Courtmacsherry lifeboat and the Coastguard helicopter from Shannon.

However, within minutes the small craft had capsized, leading to the two young men being thrown into the water.

Crewmembers and helpers were able to get a lifebelt from the pierhead to one of the men and the other person in difficulty was helped ashore.

The men were from Cork City and were said to be “shocked and traumatised” following the incident nuskin group.

They were brought back to the lifeboat house in Courtmacsherry to be assessed by station crew and officers.

Courtmacsherry RNLI Lifeboat operations manager Brian O’Dwyer commented: “These two young men had a very lucky escape in the early hours of this morning”.

He praised the fast response of the lifeboat crew members, nu skin hk local helpers and emergency services for certainly averting a “potential life-threatening situation”.
